Desk of the Day – in Palisades Village

Happy Monday!

I’m back in La La Land, and I want to take you with me to show you where I sometimes like to work when I’m here, my desk of the day.

Having worked in a medical practice setting for 20 years, this is still a brand new world for me!  The question is – where to go today?

One of my favorite places to go to sit and work in LA is our town center, called Palisades Village. It’s a newly developed center filled with many great restaurants, shops, and places to sit, read, people-watch, or better yet, dog watch. There are so many dogs here in town!

Do you have favorite places to go to sit, read, and even work? When I get here, I try to look for that lone table that happens to be available. Today – I got lucky!

Having spent so many years working with people all day, I still like working out of the house when I can because I feel more connected to the world. Otherwise, I could spend day after day in my home office, without any motivation to leave. It’s very good for me to get out of the house!

Finding Inspiration Wherever We Are

I guess we can find inspiration anywhere, really, if we keep our eyes open and really look for it. Here, in LA, the robust flowers, blue sky, and wide-open views are very inspiring. I’m going to mix it up and try working in different towns and areas over the next several weeks. There is always so much more to discover.
