Manifest a Joyful Holiday Season with the Law of Attraction
Let’s face it! The holiday season can be filled with the ‘feels.’ And by that, I mean all the feels.
Stress and excitement blend into a unique form of chaos, and sometimes, you’re left wondering, “What just happened? Did I miss this whole thing?”
Whatever your situation, accomplishing everything that needs to be done during the holiday season can feel overwhelming.
Thankfully, I have great news for you! The law of attraction is available to you NOW and can become your new best friend. Think of the law as your secret weapon. You can galvanize a potentially stressful situation into a deeply fulfilling experience.
What is the law of attraction?
According to Very Well Mind, “The law of attraction is a philosophy suggesting that positive thoughts bring positive results into a person’s life, while negative thoughts bring adverse outcomes. In other words, a positive mindset will attract more success and happiness than a negative one.”
Let’s look at how we can quickly become familiar with this powerful tool.
Understanding the Law of Attraction.
First, let’s examine the Law of Attraction in more detail and see the many ways it can work.
“The Law of Attraction says that that which is like unto itself is drawn. In other words, that which you think, at any moment, attracts unto itself other thoughts that are like it,” from Abraham Hicks.
It’s almost staggering to take a moment to appreciate our power to influence everything we experience in life.
We know thoughts and feelings shape our reality in every sense of the word. Therefore, we can impact our experience by gently changing our perspective.
The Law of Attraction reminds us that the energy we put into the universe attracts similar energy back to us. In other words, our thoughts and emotions act as powerful magnets, drawing experiences and circumstances that align with them.
Awareness of this is especially important when stress and overwhelm can quickly occur during the holiday season.
By cultivating our preferred thoughts and emotions, we can create a more meaningful, joyful, and harmonious holiday season for ourselves and those around us.
Visualizing Your Ideal Holiday Season.
“All possibilities are available right now. How do you want to feel?” – Abraham Hicks.
In coaching, we learned how to use a powerful tool called ‘The Ideal Day,’ which we can expand to envision the ideal holiday—whatever that looks like for you during this joyous holiday season!
So, let’s play with this.
Consider these ideas:
Take a moment and imagine how you would like these next few weeks to unfold.
Visualize it like a movie.
Will you attend many celebrations? Picture yourself enjoying time with the people you love most.
Will you spend a lot of time with your family? Or do you want to enjoy some quiet time alone?
It’s helpful to get deep into the details. Will you enjoy heartfelt conversations, or do you see yourself playing games and celebrating? Cultivate a tapestry of feelings and visions that represent your ideal holiday season.
Remember not to place judgment on yourself! You may be envisioning a bubble bath and a good book alone! It’s all good, and it all works.
The key is that envisioning and getting clear will set things in motion!
Try journaling and creating visual projects like mood boards to solidify your intentions.

Harnessing Gratitude During the Holidays.
“Upon waking, let your first thought be, thank you,” – Abraham Hicks.
We know the central role that gratitude plays in amplifying positive vibrations, and now is the time to put it into motion.
Expressing warm wishes and genuine appreciation for others can amplify positive vibrations during the holiday season, spreading goodwill and heartfelt sentiments to friends, family, and colleagues.
Exercise your gratitude muscle, and watch everything fall into place.
Some practical tips and ideas:
- Maintain a gratitude journal for December, starting now!
- Draft personalized notes to family and friends, expressing your love and appreciation for what they mean to you.
- Focus on abundance rather than lack (e.g., cherishing meaningful gifts vs. excessive consumption). Abundance is so open-ended. It’s a feeling of enough. You are grateful because you are here! And life is good.
- Sit in gratitude for as long as you can every morning. To get you started, there are fantastic meditations available on Insight Timer. I use the app daily, and it’s the best.
- Giving back to others inspires deeply connected feelings of gratitude. Be intentional. Choose a nonprofit and get involved. Here are some of my favorite charities supporting women and children.
Turning Challenges into Opportunities During the Festive Season.
“Lifting your vibrations above the material existence of your life is the answer to every problem,“ – Abraham Hicks.
Acknowledge everyday holiday stressors (financial pressures, social obligations, family dynamics). We are all managing various situations in our personal lives.
Mindfulness is the most powerful tool I’ve found to work through these challenges.
My all-time favorite teacher, Byron Katie, has so many quotes that I turn to when I need help. My new favorite is “Suffering is optional.” We have agency over our minds. We choose to suffer or to be happy with our lives exactly as they are. It really is that simple.
The story we tell ourselves about our situation is the only one that matters.
So, how do you work with the list of challenging circumstances? I have to send this right back to Byron Katie. Try practicing The Work. It comprises four questions that get down to the substance of your beliefs, challenge them, turn them around, and you feel free from them. Trust me, this works! Try it here.
I’m also trained to facilitate so you can work with me here.
Also, practice mindfulness by taking mindful breaths throughout the day. Another of my favorite teachers, Eckhart Tolle, has wonderful tools to support you. Try his and some of my other favorite meditations here.

Practicing mindfulness can help us stay present and focused on the moment, savor the season, and witness the magic happening all around us.
Manifestation Success Stories
“You are pre-paving your future experiences constantly… You are continually projecting your expectations into your future experiences.” – Abraham Hicks.
We have so much more powerful than we think!
I want to share a personal story about how I used the law of attraction to overcome a challenging holiday. I’m going to take you back to New Year’s Eve in 2010. I had an arrangement with my ex-husband that required me to be in Toronto to meet my daughter on her return from visiting her Canadian family in western Canada.
This particular year, I was forced to spend New Year’s in Toronto as my daughter was flying in the following morning. Needless to say, I was dreading this.
At first, I thought, “What will I do alone in a hotel room on NYE? I’m probably going to feel so lonely!! So, I decided to book a nice hotel, the Four Seasons. I started to come around to the idea of having a spa-like evening, but I was still uncomfortable with the whole thing.
Embracing a positive outlook:
Then, I decided to really go all in. I thought, “This is going to be fabulous! I’m going to have a decadent night.”
As I approached the hotel, I felt excited about my upcoming stay. On check-in, the attendant asked me if I was staying alone. I said I was and gave a brief explanation of my visit. He stepped away for a few moments, and when he came back, he told me that I was being upgraded to the presidential suite!
It didn’t stop there. Shortly after I got to my room, the doorbell rang, and a bellman came in with a silver platter of chocolate-covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne.
I was overjoyed! I spent the night ordering room service, reading a decadent novel, and watching the ball drop in Times Square on television. It was all so overwhelmingly amazing! It was one of the most memorable holidays of my life.
I knew then that the law attraction was very real! My upbeat outlook and attitude attracted incredible circumstances.

Closing Thoughts on the Law of Attraction:
“Let your alignment (with Well-Being) be first and foremost, and let everything else be secondary. Not only will you have an eternally joyous journey, but everything you have ever imagined will flow effortlessly into your experience. There is nothing you cannot be or do or have—but your dominant intent is to be joyful. The doing and the having will come into alignment once you get that one down,” – Abraham Hicks.
It’s such a relief to know that we can move forward freely when we embrace this way of thinking and being.
We are free – more than we realize. We have agency over ourselves, our thoughts, feelings, and storylines. And we have the freedom to create whatever we want because our inner life matters most.
So choose to align with your highest self this holiday and watch things fall into place.
Wishing you the happiest of holidays this year!
Tricia
