Are You Away From Loved Ones? Try Sending Love Vibrations
Are you seeking a way to lift your spirit while connecting with friends and family not immediately nearby? Consider sending love vibrations.
I know you may think, ‘This woman has lost her mind! What is the point of sending loving thoughts and feelings to others when they’ll never be able to feel them?’
That’s where I have some important news to share!
I’ve done some research. And here are some scientifically-backed concepts that prove sending love to others is real:
1. The Maharishi Effect proves that energy from some can be experienced by a whole.
According to TMHome:
“In 1960, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi predicted that one percent of a population practicing the TM technique would produce measurable improvements in the quality of life for the whole population.
This phenomenon was first documented in scientific research in 1976 when it was found that when 1% of a community practiced Transcendental Meditation, the crime rate was reduced by 16% on average. At this time, the phenomenon was named the Maharishi Effect.”
Although on a large scale, the Maharishi Effect has proven that when people focus their energy, dramatic effects are produced.
So, what can we take away from this?
First: energy is real.
And we are way more powerful than we realize in our ability to send positive energy outward, especially to a person we love.
2. Next up: Heart Coherence. An optimal state we can achieve to send a message to a loved one.
What is Heart Coherence?
The HeartMath Institute, an organization that pursues the science of interconnectivity, defines heart coherence as:
“[It is] the synchronization of our physical, mental, and emotional systems. It can be measured by our heart-rhythm patterns: The more balanced and smooth they are, the more in sync, or coherent we are.
Stress levels recede, energy levels increase, and our brain and what HeartMath calls the “heart brain” work together. It is a state of optimal clarity, perception, and performance.“
Simply put, coherence describes the purposeful alignment of our internal selves and our external actions.
Also, from Dr. Bruce Lipton, of The Honeymoon Effect: “We create our lives with our beliefs, and we broadcast those beliefs into the energetic environment around us. We are creating our relationships, and with that knowledge, we have the freedom to create whatever kinds of relationships we want.”
So, we are powerful!
When we align our thoughts and feelings, we can effect change. We’re capable of sending love and support out into the ether.
Our ability to connect our heart and mind amplifies our vibration.
So, how do we begin sending love vibrations to people in our lives?
1. The first step is to
We know we have an eternal source of love within ourselves. We only need to access it.
Meditation and activating a state of mindfulness are key to beginning this process.
We need to become aware of our powerful hearts.
2. Sending love starts with focusing on your heart chakra.
Picture a glorious green light emanating from within your heart center. Allow yourself to connect with the ever-powerful energy field of your heart.
“When the heart chakra is in healthy alignment, you will feel surrounded by love, compassion, and joy and connected to the world around you. You will feel open to all experiences in life, and it will feel like challenges, especially in relationships, flow through you and are resolved with ease.
An open heart chakra allows us to see all of the beauty and love around us and truly connect to ourselves, our loved ones, and the natural world.”
So focus on gratitude, openness, connection, and divine love.

3. Next, identify yourself as the sender.
According to one of my favorite teachings of Paramahansa Yogananda, here’s a message for a strategic way to learn to send love:
“You can indeed perfect your sending process. The receiving station of your inner “radio” is the heart. The sending station is the spiritual eye. So focus on your own spiritual eye and concentrate on the spiritual eye of the other. Then send a strong thought or feeling.
The other will receive it either consciously or subconsciously. Use strong will. Thoughts are very gentle vibrations moving in the ether. Feelings are too. They can be consciously received and sent. Receiving requires receptivity, sending requires willpower.”
Try sending vibrations of love and kindness to the person you wish to connect with.
This reminded me of a time when I struggled being away from my young daughter. She was spending a month with her dad far away in western Canada.
I remember feeling hopeless and sad.
My therapist then suggested that I learn a new way to connect.
She suggested I send her loving thoughts and vibrations. So, that’s what I did.
And let me tell you, it truly helped! I felt relief knowing I was sending love and kindness her way. And I believed, on some level, that she was receiving my messages.
Give it a try!
Visualize sending love by envisioning your auras connecting.
“Your aura is the most potent tool at your disposal to send love energy to someone. Visualize the person, irrespective of their surroundings.
Imagine your aura reaching and connecting with theirs, surrounding them in a protective shield.”
I love the image of auras with light connecting because an aura suggests a vast, expansive energy field. We can connect to another person’s aura and send them love and protection.
Sending love vibrations- a few more thoughts:
Unfortunately, we can’t always be with loved ones, friends, and family alike, to express our love physically with hugs or by telling them how much we care in person.
But we can accomplish a similar result by sending love vibrations their way at any time.
The Course in Miracles says that ‘all minds are joined.’
On some level, we know this is true. And we have the power to connect in a loving way when we choose to.
