Struggling to Find Love? Here’s How I Can Help as Your Spiritual Relationship Coach
As I venture into my journey as a spiritual and relationship coach, I’m so excited to see a new chapter unfold. What has become my new passion? Guiding women towards love. This mission strikes a personal chord, resonating deeply with the path I’ve taken in my life.
My path to love was fraught with challenges. Yet, through continuous learning, I uncovered crucial insights that led to major shifts in perspective. I suddenly found myself feeling happier in my life than I’d ever been. All of this ultimately guided me toward a partner who was right for me.
Here are some main focus areas I will cover in my coaching programs. Follow along if you’re motivated to take steps toward discovering the love you seek.
I infuse spirituality into my relationship coaching:
An important first step is establishing a spiritual grounding and recognizing that you’re not alone on this journey. I think it’s so helpful to feel that divine intelligence has a say in what’s happening in your life.
I like to weave timeless, meaningful principles into my coaching, enhancing its depth and impact.
Women I coach are often afraid that they will never find a life partner.
A quote from A Course in Miracles says, “The presence of fear is a sure sign that you are trusting in your own strength.” When clients sense this shift, they visibly relax. It’s so nice to know you don’t have to white-knuckle this process all alone!
Working to get beyond fear helps clarify paths toward authentic connections and personal growth.
A spiritual foundation offers so much support. It empowers you to act while recognizing that a greater force is co-creating alongside you. This dual influence—your efforts and divine guidance—creates a powerful synergy and illuminates the path ahead.
Adding powerful messages from the Tao Te Ching:
Another area of a coaching program I like to explore is the underlying philosophy behind the teaching of the Tao Te Ching. It offers a different perspective and brings awareness of an ever-abundant greater power and flow.
You can read more about this limitless potential here.
The Tao offers a hopeful and expansive way of thinking. You can feel that you are part of a much larger picture, which is very powerful. So, at the beginning of the practice, I suggest that the women I’m working with create an altar in their homes. It’s very grounding, and you can turn to when you want to leave a note to reflect on your day.
It sets the energy in motion for something incredible to happen.
Another key area of focus is trusting in yourself. In coaching, we work with the body compass to help you navigate the often surprising world of dating!
A key step while working with a relationship coach: Taking a look at your story:
Next, we begin to identify your story. It’s important to look at the patterns that are happening now. The beginning of the program can be hard before it gets easy at the end. I tell clients that it’s normal to experience sometimes painful emotions as they objectively examine their patterns.
Identifying personal stories and patterns can help uncover clients’ beliefs – mainly about themselves and what they feel they deserve.
Thought work is powerful! I have many tools to help clients uncover thoughts and beliefs and practice new thoughts, leading to drastically better outcomes.
Then, we explore the idea of neuroplasticity, which is incredibly hopeful. It’s possible to rewrite your beliefs and create new thought grooves in your brain!
Through dedicated effort, we can change old, deeply rooted patterns for good.
Finding love – looking at Internal Family Systems for a deeper connection.
Internal family systems is a fascinating area of self-awareness work right now.
The model suggests that we are all made up of several parts and have one true higher self that ideally needs to lead. We have wounded parts (exiles) and actively protective parts (firefights and managers).
Through coaching, we will examine what part of you is currently running your dating life. You might be very surprised!
A goal is to develop a deeper connection to the highest part of yourself – the sovereign, all-knowing, wise self within. Allowing that version to take over is a major step toward becoming the person you are here to be.
Relationship coaching: Getting in touch with radiant self-love:
Then, everything starts to become more fun! We look at ways to move toward embodying self-love in all ways. We move into a more profound sense of self-connection and self-love. A woman who loves herself is radiant!
There are endless ways to build daily practices that help nurture the feelings of self-love and self-acceptance we all deserve to feel.
We all can achieve this when we honor and accept everything about who we are right now. In doing so, we explore what this all means to you, what loving yourself looks like, and how you can take daily steps toward embracing, accepting, and loving who you are.
Embracing the art of manifestation for a healthy relationship:
Manifesting is an art! When I’m manifesting, I use a vision book. And I’ve had very specific practices that worked for me in incredibly precise ways, which I’ll share.
In coaching, we’ll also look at the signals you’re sending to see if you’re coming across as hopeful, trusting, and open to taking a chance.
Manifesting is about holding the energy of how you want to feel in your body to become a match for what you desire.
Harnessing the power of the law of attraction to help find a wonderful relationship:
The law of attraction is no different than the law of gravity. It exists on a very real and measurable level.
So, how does this work in terms of relationships? We attract what we are. The key is to embody the emotional tone of your highest self so that you may attract from that place.
There are many ways to embrace the law of attraction and use it to help manifest what you desire. Daily accountability is helpful here because we can get lost in storylines that have the potential to drag us down.
The goal is to consistently help you achieve a higher state within and use this state as the foundation for matching what you desire.
The art of surrender in attracting relationships:
An overlooked and critical step in manifesting is allowing, which requires deep faith and trust.
This is where surrender comes in, and in some ways, this ties back to the spiritual piece in the beginning. To co-create, you need to do your part and really let go.
We allow a higher intelligence to send us what we need, even if it’s not exactly what we want.
I can share that I made a decision to let go about two weeks before I met my husband. Before that, I was focused entirely on finding a Boston guy with family in the city locally. I would never have been open to meeting my husband—a tech guy from Seattle!
But I was open and gave it a chance. And, you know what? It worked out!
Becoming the highest, most vibrant version of yourself is the secret to attracting the life and love you desire.
While we journey through these modules, the overarching goal is to open ourselves to fully loving, accepting, and celebrating our truest, highest selves. This process leaves you feeling so fulfilled and joyful that your desire for a partner becomes less of a focus.
You, yourself, are living your best life!
Ironically, this is often when the right person enters.
My experience with finding a relationship in my mid 40’s:
I was divorced at age 30, and I remember feeling like my entire world was crashing down. And I also had an infant daughter then, and I thought, “How will I ever have a meaningful relationship?”
I was shattered. And I couldn’t imagine myself finding love again.
Ultimately, I followed my yellow brick road, where I discovered many things along the way. The path was never dull!
In those 15 years I was single, I dated a lot, and each time, I knew the person wasn’t truly suitable for me. It was as if a part of me was blocking real love – because I wasn’t ready. I was attracting from a place of lack and pain.
It wasn’t until I got serious and did the hard work of understanding my patterns and healing my heart that I started on a new path.
While embracing my deepest desires, I decided to follow my dream of owning a practice and moving to a new city, Boston, and my life fell into place.
Following my North Star:
My teacher, Martha Beck, writes about following your north star, which is critical to finding a partner. I believe that you need to be on your way to living the life that is truly right for you before you can attract someone on the same wavelength.
As I said, it wasn’t a simple path, but I followed all of the steps in my program, and I can tell you they worked for me!
I hope that what took me 15 years will only take you a matter of months. But the timing isn’t in your control. The secret is to surrender it all to divine timing. You might be surprised, and the timing might be speedy! That’s what happened to me.
The best part is that you become more fulfilled, radiant, and joyful as you move toward this higher version of yourself. When you finally meet that person, it feels more like a recognition. You know on some level that your life is complete already, and this is the person you can journey forward with together.
