Top 10 Most-Viewed Blog Posts of 2024
Every year, I love taking a moment to look back on which posts resonated most with you. It’s always so fun to see what touched hearts and sparked conversations. Sometimes, the results are as expected, and other times, I’m very surprised!
This year, we have a mix of ongoing favorites and fresh new additions that made the list. It’s a gift to look back and celebrate these moments with you.
With gratitude and curiosity, here are the most-loved blog posts of 2024:
1. What Do Different Flowers Symbolize? Think Love, Passion, and Goodbye!
This blog post is from the original set. I was inspired to create content related to my “rose-colored glasses” theme.
It’s fascinating to think about how far we’ve come. Thankfully, we now communicate directly instead of using flowers to say, “Goodbye!”
Key Highlights:
- Floriography (the language of flowers) dates back thousands of years and was particularly popular in Victorian England and the United States as a way to express emotions when social norms restricted open communication. (This is wild to even think about, right?)
- Famous figures, such as Shakespeare, incorporated the symbolism of flowers in their works, and some flowers have universal meanings (e.g., red roses symbolize love).
Create themed bouquets with specific combinations of flowers to send meaningful messages. For example:
- Heather, Camellia, and Blue Iris, for good luck and encouragement.
- Alstroemeria for devotion and friendship.
- Orchids for romantic and passionate love.
- Alternatively, keep it simple by selecting a flower symbolizing a particular emotion or relationship.
Final Takeaway:
Flowers carry deep emotional and historical meanings, making them a creative and thoughtful way to connect with others. The blog encourages readers to explore the “language of flowers” and use it to convey sentiments for any occasion.

2. Nine Powerful Quotes on Motherhood: Rejoice in Pure Wisdom
This collection of quotes was a key part of the blog’s original launch four years ago. These handpicked quotes are not just about motherhood—they reimagine it, turning it on its head and encouraging us to view it through a spiritual lens.
I drew inspiration from visionaries whom I admire and respect.
I always go back to one quote: “A mother’s love liberates.” To me, these words redefine the way we see mothers and the love they give. It reflects an idea that I try to live up to—that mothers have the unique ability to set us free, empowering us to step into the world and into ourselves fully.
Blog post summary:
These quotes explore the deep connection between mother and child, emphasizing themes like patience, courage, self-worth, and unconditional love. Featured quotes include:
- Dr. Shefali Tsabary’s thoughts on children as teachers of life’s greatest lessons.
- Oprah Winfrey’s view of motherhood is that it is a profoundly spiritual and honorable calling.
- Beyonce Knowles describes how her daughter helped her discover herself.
- Wayne Dyer highlights that children are independent beings expressing life’s essence.
- Nayyirah Waheed beautifully portrays a mother as a child’s first home.
- Larry Barretto likens babies to stardust, capturing the magic of childbirth.
- Michelle Obama emphasizes that parents are role models in every word and action.
- Maya Angelou encapsulates the power of a mother’s love by saying, “A mother’s love liberates.”
- Rumi connects love to the essence of our being and origins.
The post invites readers to reflect on their experiences with motherhood, seeing them through a new lens.

3. Are You Away From Loved Ones? Try Sending Love Vibrations.
This is a piece that I love—it’s a practice that truly shaped my experience as a single mom raising my daughter.
A few times a year, she would travel far to visit her dad in western Canada. Those moments of separation were tough, not knowing how to stay connected with her from miles away.
That’s when I discovered the power of sending love vibrations. My therapist suggested it, so I researched it and decided to try it. And something incredible happened—it worked. It taught me that it all begins with you, the sender. When you can truly feel your emotions, focus on them, and send them with intention, you can tap into a profound sense of peace and connection, even from a distance.
I still remember the day I wrote about this technique—it came together in under two hours. Seeing how many others have connected with it makes me happy! This concept continues to resonate with me, and I use it often. It’s a gentle reminder that love knows no boundaries—it’s always there, quietly linking us to those we love most.
Blog post summary:
Sending love vibrations to others is an empowering and meaningful way to connect beyond physical presence, backed by spirituality and science.
Through techniques like cultivating heart coherence, focusing on the heart chakra, and visualizing the connection of auras, individuals can intentionally send thoughts of love, kindness, and positivity.
Concepts such as the Maharishi Effect and practices described by the HeartMath Institute reaffirm that our energy has far-reaching impacts and can create profound connections when aligned with purpose.
Whether separated from loved ones or looking to strengthen bonds, sending love vibrations through meditation and visualization can help foster a deep sense of closeness and healing. (This technique helped me a lot as a single mom.)
It’s helpful to remember that love is infinite within you, and you always have the power to share it intentionally, no matter the distance.
Special note: This practice isn’t just about transmitting energy; it’s about grounding yourself in love and gratitude. When you align your mind, heart, and soul, your capacity to radiate love grows exponentially, creating ripples of connection across time and space. That’s pretty awesome!

This piece is one of my go-to favorites. I turn to it whenever I feel overwhelmed, need a boost, or need a fresh perspective. Its messages resonate deeply, reassuring us that we can transform our circumstances.
These words offer a clear path toward self-empowerment. They remind me that we are never just bystanders to our circumstances; we hold the power to shape how we see and respond to them.

The author highlights key lessons, including:

5. How Does Spiritual Alignment Feel? See Enlightening Descriptions From Masters
This is another post that can shift my mood immediately if I need it.
I pulled specific quotes from my favorite spiritual teachers to reinforce the idea that feeling a sense of spiritual alignment requires practice and that we have so many tools at our fingertips to help us connect with a higher sense of purpose.
I love that!
Spiritual alignment promotes trust. We learn that we can rely on the power of a higher plan.
Blog post summary:
Spiritual alignment refers to connecting with one’s inner self and a higher energy source, which brings joy, peace, and effortless ease to one’s life.
In this post, I share excerpts from masters such as Eckhart Tolle, Deepak Chopra, and Esther Hicks that emphasize practices such as meditation, focusing on joy, and aligning actions with the present moment to achieve this state.
Meditation helps quiet the mind and aligns thoughts with pure consciousness while focusing on joy reinforces our true nature.
Additionally, spiritual alignment involves integrating “being” and “doing”—acting in alignment with the present moment to positively impact yourself and others.
The piece also mentions that building spiritual alignment requires regular practice, such as chanting mantras, deep breathing, and mindfulness. It’s not about staying in perfect alignment all the time but consciously reconnecting whenever life’s challenges pull you away.
Tools like becoming aware of alignment, meditative exercises, and surrendering to trust can help you regain this sense of balance.
Ultimately, spiritual alignment promotes a sense of divine trust, allowing us to rely on a higher power’s plan while experiencing a state of acceptance and joy.
Who doesn’t want to feel this way?!

6. Friends Drifting Apart: Is There a Loving Way to See This?
This story is very personal. I think we all go through this at some point. I know I’m going through it in my 50s.
Before writing this, I’d never examined this idea closely. I thought, “Okay, some friendships are drifting, but am I okay with that?” As I researched this piece, I was happy to discover that drifting apart sometimes reflects your growth and evolution.
Possibly, the connection you once shared wasn’t healthy, and you’ve grown beyond it.
So, instead of viewing it with sadness and loss, you can see it as a natural part of life. You can think, “I’ve moved forward, and I can be grateful for the time we shared.”
Blog post summary:
Friendships often change as people evolve, and drifting apart doesn’t always have to be negative. Growth can lead to shifts in energy, roles, and dynamics that no longer align as they once did. Rather than dwell on sadness, it’s helpful to view the end of a friendship as a natural cycle—an opportunity to reflect, learn, and grow.
When friends drift apart, it’s often because personal growth changes the energy we bring into relationships. This evolution can lead to outgrowing specific dynamics or discovering patterns like codependency that may no longer feel healthy.
Instead of questioning yourself, you can acknowledge how much you’ve grown and see the relationship as having fulfilled its purpose.
To process the emotions, consider forgiveness for yourself and your friend. Understand that their actions stem from their experiences, not because of you. Books like The Four Agreements remind us not to take things personally, which helps us find peace and heal.
If you’re struggling to move on, practices like cord-cutting meditations, affirmations, and visualizing positive energy for your friend can help release attachment in a healthy way. Express gratitude for the lessons brought into your life and cherish the memories without clinging to the past.
Ultimately, friendships evolve, and while some thrive through reinvention, others naturally fade. Celebrate those that endure and find peace with those that shift, as both play a role in your personal growth.

7. Blossoming and Becoming: A Letter to Expectant Mothers
I wrote this story for mothers at the launch of the blog. It is one of the core pillars and impetus for creating the blog.
At that time, I had experienced many changes as a mother and felt that many areas of motherhood weren’t being explored and discussed as openly as they are now. Therefore, I wanted to offer content to help women navigate some of the overwhelming aspects of motherhood.
Blog post summary:
A mother-to-be receives a heartfelt letter encouraging self-kindness and trust as she begins her parenting journey.
The letter stresses that while mistakes will happen, they are growth opportunities. It reassures her she already has what it takes to be the perfect mother for her baby, who has chosen her uniquely out of billions.
Though tiny, the baby is described as wise and capable of teaching the mother as they grow together. The mother is encouraged to show herself love and self-acceptance, which will deeply influence her child’s self-view.
The letter highlights the profound bond, lessons, and love that the baby will bring, encouraging the mother to cherish the miracle of their shared experience with grace and an open heart.
It’s short, sweet, and, I think, very poignant.

8. How Does It Feel When You Connect With Someone Energetically? Inspired and Free
I love this one! It explores how our energy fields interact with others. When we’re in the presence of someone we’re energetically aligned with, we can feel free.
Blog post summary:
It explores how people can connect with others energetically, often referred to as “vibing.”
According to Dr. Lawrence Wilson, our energy fields—a subtle emanation surrounding our bodies—play a big role in these connections. Vibing occurs when energies resonate, leading to mutual attraction and a harmonious exchange.
Signs of healthy, energetic connections include feelings of lightness, happiness, and ease when with someone. These connections foster present-moment awareness, a sense of sameness, and emotional vulnerability, allowing people to share openly without fear of judgment. These connections can elevate your mood, creating a sense of safety, joy, and contentment.
This post emphasizes the importance of maintaining a high energetic vibration through meditation, journaling, or breathwork. One can attract positive connections and uplift existing relationships by keeping energies clear.
It concludes with an invitation to reflect on personal experiences of spiritual and energetic connections and encourage readers to share kindness, love, and higher vibes with others.
9. Four Revealing Reasons to Stop Putting Someone on a Pedestal
I found myself occasionally putting people on a pedestal. So, I decided to dig deeper and research reasons to stop and see this in a new way.
As I researched, I discovered that when you lift someone, you lower yourself. This blocks the opportunity for genuine connection.
Blog post summary:
We often put others on pedestals, viewing them as superior, which can harm our self-esteem and limit authentic connections. This article explores why we do this, its impact, and practical reasons to stop.
- It’s All Ego
Comparing ourselves to others stems from the ego, which thrives on better/worse thinking. Mindfulness helps us focus on our shared humanity instead of comparisons.
- Missed Connections
Putting someone on a pedestal creates an unrealistic image of them, preventing genuine relationships. Authenticity and curiosity foster deeper, meaningful bonds.
- Lowering Yourself
When you elevate others, you devalue yourself, creating imbalance. Accepting yourself and others as they are lays the foundation for healthy dynamics.
- Honor Yourself
Shift your focus to self-respect and self-confidence. Replace negative self-talk with affirming statements like, “I’m doing my best” or “I’m worthy.” Celebrate your unique qualities without ego, and radiate self-worth while appreciating others.
Refusing to place others above us strengthens our self-esteem, enhances relationships, and nurtures a healthier, more confident mindset.

10. Are You Ready to Attract Love Into Your Life?
This one is personal! Although it was released with the blog’s original launch, it has become a focus of mine as I move forward in my coaching practice.
It represents where I was in my life when I met my husband. If I could return to the time I was single and hoping to meet a partner, I would ask myself these three questions.
Blog post summary:
This post provides insights into manifesting love. Through personal experiences, I outline three key questions to help others attract a loving relationship:
- Is Your Heart Open to Love? – I share the importance of vulnerability and self-healing, sharing practices like yoga, charity work, and spiritual study that helped open their heart.
- Do You Believe You Deserve Love? – Limiting beliefs can block love. By identifying and challenging these beliefs (using methods like Byron Katie’s “The Work”), individuals can cultivate self-worth and confidence in their ability to find love.
- Can You Trust and Let Go? Visualization and letting go of control are key. I share how I used a vision book to focus on my clients’ desires and trusted a higher power to guide them, allowing happiness and fulfillment to attract love naturally.
The process took months of introspection and intentional practice, but I know it can work! The story concludes with actionable tips, suggests resources to explore, and inspires readers to stay committed to their journey of manifesting love.
